A little treat

This image is an assignment I did several years ago in school. It's always been a favorite. The medium is wax crayon.

The Trojan Women

A series of illustrations depicting the four main characters from the Greek Tragedy by Euripides. Each woman tells her own story about the war and the fate that will befall her. The four women are Andromache (the wife of Hector), Cassandra (the doomed priestess), Hecuba (queen of Troy) and Helen. The images are painted in acrylic
